Rescue Fundraising Drive – from now until March 17, 2026, St. Patrick’s Day

With all the activity that has occurred rescuing six dogs from very challenging situations over the last months, our rescue funds require a boost. All six rescues required special care including foster care, one required a capture service to retrieve this teenager from his life running wild on 80 acres. All required significant patience and rehabilitation to trust humans again.   In honor of our love for the Irish Wolfhound, we are conducting a Rescue Fundraising drive from February 24 to March 17, 2026.   We ask that you please dig deep as a positive outcome for these poor animals is very much dependant on everyone’s generosity.

Regional Specialty 2026

 The Regional Specialty is scheduled for May 2, 2026, with Dr. Lynn Simons as the National Specialty Judge and Maura High as Sweeps Judges.  Information will be available online through dogshow.ca

The activities start on May1^st through May 3^rd with Conformation specialty show, Sweepstake, lure coursing, seminar and social activities in afternoons and on Saturday night.

 National Specialty Show 2026 and Ontario Branch Specialty Show

The Ontario branch is holding their annual specialty show and will be acting in support of the IWCC to hold their National Specialty on the weekend of September 19, 2026. in  Elmvale Ontario.

The judge will be Markkü Mahonen from Finland and the other judges for the Regional show as well as the 2 sweepstakes on the panel are still to be confirmed.
