IWCC Area Branches
The regional and provincial Branches operate under the purview of the National Breed Club (IWCC) and follow the CKC Chapter V Club Policy. Currently none of the four Branches in Canada have gone through the process of becoming recognized by the CKC as a Branch Club. Therefore, they are acting in support of the IWCC to host sanctioned events such as the annual National Specialty, Regional Specialties, lure coursing and field trials. They also host informal events such as parades, Celtic Events, fun matches and more. Currently the National Breed Club is working towards supporting the Branches in their goal to become recognized as Branch Clubs of the IWCC, or to apply for Specialty Breed Club status
